SCQM Foundation

The SCQM Foundation runs an independent scientific platform in Rheumatology, free of local, regional or personal interests. The foundation does not pursue commercial or self-help purposes. The foundation primarily aims to achieve:

• The continuous improvement of the quality of the treatment of rheumatoid Arthritis, axial Spondyloarthropathy (Morbus Bechterew) and psoriatic Arthritis, using quantitative measures (e.g. of disease activity and quality of life) and direct feedback to patient and physician.

• The setup, data-collection, documentation and evaluation of Swiss cohorts.

• The employment of the cohorts and of the collected data for clinical, epidemiological and fundamental research.

• The development and maintenance of international relationships to similar organizations.
