About the employer

MAZEM – Mannheim Center for Empirical Multilingualism Research in Mannheim, Germany  was founded in 2011 by researchers at the University of Mannheim. We are a team of about twelve and focus on translating research findings on acquisition and multilingualism into educational practice.

Together with our partners, we develop, consult and implement projects in the areas of language-related professional development of educators and teachers, scientific evaluation of language intervention programs, language training and testing. We improve language education by designing and implementing theoretically grounded intervention programs, disseminating scientific findings and best-practice examples and by creating platforms for innovation and exchange among educators, administrators and researchers.

MAZEM is a non-profit company (NGO) registered under the legal form of a gGmbH.
