#TRANSFORMINGTOMORROW: MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH US.

Join the future of research, learning and innovation at Interdisciplinary Transformation University (IT:U).
Be part of our mission to bring science and digital transformation together to create sustainable solutions for society.
Work together with our diverse and international team, collaborate with institutions across the globe and help build a university from the ground up.

“Envision this: A university specifically dedicated to digital transformation, based on interdisciplinary research and project-based learning, supported by and advancing digital technologies. A university without disciplinary and institutional borders. A technical university attracting students who have not studied technology for their first degrees, but who have come to appreciate computer science to solve problems close to their hearts. A technical university for and with women, with a diverse culture, and openness to embrace new approaches. Get ready to transform our world!” Stefanie Lindstaedt, Founding President, IT:U

IT:U is one of Europe’s first public universities dedicated exclusively to the digital transformation of science, business, and society. Based in Linz, Austria, it offers a new model of learning for a digital world. Through a project-based, integrative approach, students from diverse disciplines develop the digital skills needed to tackle global challenges.

From climate change to public health, these challenges demand interdisciplinary science and computational approaches. To be successful in finding solutions, scientists have to work together across disciplines and embrace computational methods. In response to this need, IT:U was founded in July 2022 and has been fully operational since October 2024.

Find out more about us here, become part of the team and build this entirely new university with us!

Come as you are – we value and promote diversity in our team. Everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential, realize ideas and seize opportunities. Regardless of age, skin colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation or origin, we welcome applications from all people equally.
