About the employer

The most important thing about the university are the people – over 17,500 students, around 500 professors, 750 lecturers and 660 staff. We feel committed to our guiding principle: “transforming knowledge into know-how and learners into leaders.”

Quality opens doors for the future
Quality is always first and foremost. The most important quality of our teaching and research is its close link to practice. The link to practice is guaranteed by our professors due to their strong economic contacts. Prior to teaching, they worked for a minimum of five years and know what students need for a successful start in their working lives.

The requirements of practice are constantly changing. Therefore, we always have our finger on the pulse and continue to develop – for example, through promising new study courses such as electromobility and care.

Our practice-oriented study courses open all doors to the future for you. They best prepare you for making your way, wherever you choose to go.

Supporting individuality – developing personality
Our course offerings are multifaceted: 14 departments in the areas of technology, economy, social studies and design provide teaching in over 70 study courses. Our study courses can also be individually designed. Our multifaceted approach guarantees you individuality. Bring your strengths and implement your ideas.

Feel at home with us!
It is only possible to be happy studying and achieve first-class performances at a place where you feel you are in good hands. We therefore want to provide you with the best possible support and advice, assisting you at all times in both word and deed.

Personal contact between lecturers, administrative staff and students ensures a good atmosphere at our university. No-one is made to be anonymous. Here, you are not a registration number – you are a person who can feel at home.
