Pioneers in genomic science for four decades, the Wellcome Sanger Institute is transforming our understanding of biology and biomedicine through ground-breaking genomics research.
The Institute’s expertise is deep, diverse, and ever-growing. Its research is unrivalled in scale, enabled by people and facilities that are truly world-leading. The Sanger Institute comprises some thirty Faculty, 1300 staff, and five hundred visiting workers spread across six programmes of research.
