Your Responsibilities

  • Research in the field of plant molecular biology and genetics with focus on molecular control of auxin activity in plant development
  • Collaboraton in ongoing reserach projects (Prof. Werner); where applicable, independent publication activity on auxin in plant development
  • Conducting of courses and examinations, including those in the area of plant molecular biology
  • Supervision of students and project-related theses
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks

Your Profile

  • Completed PhD in the area of molecular biology
  • Sound knowledge of the molecular and genetic mechanisms of hormone signaling, root development, and biomolecular condensates in plants
  • Practical knowledge of advanced molecular biological and biochemical methods, including genome editing, RNA sequencing, confocal microscopy, and protein interactions assays
  • High potential for scientific excellence (demonstrated by relevant publication activity in international peer-reviewed journals, and successful acquisition of third-party funded projects
  • or scholarships).
  • Very good proficiency in English
  • Communication, organizational and teamwork skills
  • Self-initiative and creativity

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 70.200,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
