Assistant Professor (Tenure Track position) within the imaging and diagnostics domain – deep learning for model-driven image reconstruction

Do you have the talent we are looking for? Do you want to improve yourself and participate into the bigger picture? And do you see yourself conduct international research and guide PhD students? Then we want you!

The University of Twente focuses on the grand challenges of the future. One of the key meaningful areas is Health. In the coming decades, our aging population and the expected increase of people with chronic disease will pose a growing burden on society. There is therefore an urgent need to develop new preventive and new therapeutic strategies for common age-related diseases. The 4TU Precision Medicine program entails a shift of thinking from a one-size-fits-all to a tailored and personalized approach in medicine. This is meaningful for early diagnosis and to deliver the right treatment in the right way at the right moment to enable a better prognosis for patients. It holds the promise of improving quality of life and, simultaneously achieving a reduction of health care costs.

We are seeking for an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track position) in the area of deep learning for model-driven image reconstruction. Is that you?
