The Research Group for Building Energy and Building Services Engineering, led by Prof. Dr Frank Scholzen, embedded in the Department of Engineering of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine, is looking for a Doctoral researcher (PhD student) in Engineering Science.
Your Role...
A PhD position in engineering is available at the Research Group for Building Energy and Building Services Engineering, led by Prof. Dr Frank Scholzen. The PhD Topic will aim to answer questions of demand and supply of thermal energy for buildings in the context of the energy transition. Numerical simulation methods shall be applied, supported by field or lab data or measurements campaigns.
The doctoral student will be a member of the Doctoral School for Science and Engineering (DSSE) in the doctoral programme in Engineering Sciences aiming to provide interdisciplinary and internationally competitive research training.

The yearly gross salary for every PhD at the UL is EUR 40952 (full time)
