The Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) invites applications from PhD holders at the edge between transportation and ICT technology. SnT is carrying out interdisciplinary research in secure, reliable and trustworthy ICT systems and services, often in collaboration with industrial, governmental or international partners. SnT is active in several international research projects funded by the EU H2020 and the European Space Agency.

Postdoctoral researcher in Smart Mobility (M/F)
The researcher will be part of the core team of a large Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) project co-funded by the Luxembourgish Ministry of Economy and the company Oply. The main mission will be to contribute to develop an Intelligent Urban Mobility Platform that will extend the existing Oply car-sharing platform. The researcher will be mainly responsible for the development of 1) optimal placement strategies and fleet management of the services, 2) intelligent dynamic pricing, 3) personalised incentives for the customers and 4) integration with public transport and other mobility services. In addition, the researcher will support the supervision of PhD students working on the above directions, and will work in close relation with the RDI team at Oply.

It also collaborates with national stakeholders and policy makers. The researcher will also be part of a public-private-partnership collaboration with the company Oply, which is specialised in Smart Mobility services, with services currently operating in Germany and the UK.
