YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform laboratory and printing tasks according to project needs
  • Support in process development for different functional inks and printers (Inkjet, Screen Printer, Pad Printer, Aerosol Jet, …)
  • Ink modifications for process optimization
  • Develop new printing processes and recipes
  • Printing and improving of electronic devices
  • Setup and carry out measurement and testing procedures
  • Maintenance and repair of various printing machines (Inkjet, Screen Printer, Pad Printer, Aerosol Jet, …)
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of printing machines and parts
  • Assist in project acquisition
  • Develop printing services for contract research 
  • Contribute to disseminating the results (news, publications, conferences,...)

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed apprenticeship (with min. 5 years of work experiences in related field), Technical High-School, Bachelor or Master degree in engineering (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields)
  • Software skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, LabView or similar
  • Fluent in English, German optional
  • Maintenance and repair of electromechanics machines, pneumatic systems (printers)
  • Experience with electronics and electronic devices
  • Experience with test and measurement
  • Preferred skills:
    • Experiences in the printing industry, graphic printing (screen printing, pad printing), printed electronics, cleanroom experience
    • Experience with Ink formulation/modification/preparation
    • Experience with chemicals and their handling

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group D. We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your experience and qualifications. For this position, your minimum monthly salary starts with EUR 3.141,00, paid 14 times a year.
