Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our research team on urban governance. The successful candidate will work on interdisciplinary projects aimed at understanding and improving governance processes in cities, focusing on stakeholder dynamics and urban policy strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Conduct original research on urban governance, including the analysis of public policies, stakeholder dynamics, and urban strategies.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with experts in political science, urban planning, urban sociology, and other relevant disciplines to develop integrated solutions.
- Case Studies and Modeling: Conduct case studies on specific cities, using qualitative and quantitative analysis tools to understand governance processes.
- Communication and Dissemination: Prepare and present reports, scientific articles, and presentations for international conferences. Participate in workshops and seminars to disseminate research results.
- Project Management: Contribute to the management of research projects, including writing funding proposals, coordinating with partners, and monitoring budgets.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD: A PhD in political science, urban studies, sociology, urban planning, or a related field.
- Experience in Urban Governance: Strong experience in urban governance research, demonstrated by relevant publications and research projects.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, and public policy analysis tools.
- Publications: A strong record of publications in international scientific journals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
