Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our research team on urban economics and finance. The successful candidate will work on interdisciplinary projects aimed at understanding and improving the economic and financial aspects of cities, focusing on urban development dynamics and urban financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Conduct original research on urban economics, including the analysis of economic policies, market dynamics, and financial strategies of cities.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with experts in economics, finance, urban planning, and other relevant disciplines to develop integrated solutions.
- Case Studies and Modeling: Conduct case studies on specific cities, using economic and financial analysis tools to understand urban development processes.
- Communication and Dissemination: Prepare and present reports, scientific articles, and presentations for international conferences. Participate in workshops and seminars to disseminate research results.
- Project Management: Contribute to the management of research projects, including writing funding proposals, coordinating with partners, and monitoring budgets.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD: A PhD in economics, finance, urban studies, urban planning, or a related field.
- Experience in Urban Economics and Finance: Strong experience in urban economics and finance research, demonstrated by relevant publications and research projects.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in economic and financial analysis methods, and modeling tools.
- Publications: A strong record of publications in international scientific journals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
