Your research and development area will be part of the Sustainable and Versatile Social and Health Care Research Programme focusing on physical activity and wellbeing issues. Your responsibilities will include applying funding for research, development, and innovation (RDI) projects; leading projects; conducting research and publish findings as well as supervising the theses of Laurea students.
You will be focusing on physical activity, participation and wellbeing-based practices as a part of the multidisciplinary social and health care research at Laurea. The research and development areas in the Sustainable and Versatile Social and Health Care Research Programme includes topics such as health promotion, participation, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, social inclusion, work wellbeing, and the development of health and social care services. We collaborate with public and private organizations and NGOs both nationally and internationally. Our RDI work is based on impact evaluation and sustainable development (SDG). The role requires the competence and interest in a multidisciplinary approach.
The successful candidate must have a solid knowledge of the development needs within the physical activity and wellbeing field. Basic knowledge of the laws, regulations and recommendations concerning physical activity and wellbeing issues and the ability to take these into account in research settings are also needed.

The annual salary is between 43 000 € and 52 000 € on researcher track level 1, and between 50 000 € and 65 000 € on researcher track level 2.
