For biomedical research, we have sample collections in the division of rheumatology where patient samples are stored and handled daily. Large parts of our research depend on the sample collection being well structured and correctly documented. With us, you will learn how this is done.

Your mission

Your role will be to assist us in our work to build and maintain our sample collections. The work involves collecting patient samples from the clinic, freezing them and entering information into the data bank. You will work together with an experienced BMA with extensive knowledge of our large sample collection. You will also have close contact with researchers from all corners of the world.

Your profile

We require that you have worked in a laboratory before, that you are willing to handle blood samples and that you can speak and write both Swedish and English. Previous experience of working with medical sample collections, as well as using FileMaker Pro and Excel is advantageous. If you are qualified Biomedical analyst, that is also meritorious.

Location

The position is located within the Department of Medicine, Solna. The department consists of eleven divisions and each division consists of several research groups. The position is located within the biobank management, which is a central service function at the division of rheumatology. Today we have two full-time employees and we are located in the Center for Molecular Medicine, at KI Solna.
