The Irset team “Dynamics of Microenvironment and Cancer - Structure, Signaling, Contaminants” (Dymec) opens a position available for a highly motivated postdoctoral toxicologist.
Under the supervision of Dr. Sophie Langouët, the postdoctoral researcher will implement the project 3D-IVMA, a 3-year funded by ITMO Cancer/Aviesan (France). This project aims to develop and integrate of new innovative in vitro 3D culture approaches for hepato-Mutagenesis Assessment. The researcher is expected to actively participate in the experiments, do a systematic review of the literature, data management and analysis, writing scientific papers. A strong cellular and molecular toxicology background in required.
The candidate should have preferentially a PhD in Toxicology with good knowledge in carcinogenesis and DNA damages (cell biology specialist could also fit with the profile). Experience in cell culture, xenobiotic metabolism, genotoxicity and mutation analysis is required. A first experience as a postdoctoral fellow and outstanding research achievements are an asset.
