Scientific Researcher Project „H2-Microgrid@LSA“

The EFRE funded "H2-Microgrid@LSA" project is scientifically investigating how local microgrids, which have so far been unable or being inefficient to store volatile electricity generated from renewable sources, can use the central hydrogen infrastructure of the state of Saxony-Anhalt to efficiently store electricity generated from renewable sources via „Green Hydrogen“.

The Anhalt University of Applied Sciences has the right to award doctorates through the Doctoral Centersof the HAWs in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Suitable candidates can be given the opportunity to complete their doctorate during their period of employment.

We are looking for a dynamic personality with a scientific university degree (Master, Diploma), preferably in Economics, Business Law or Law with good and proven basic economical and technical knowledge of industrial production processes.

Language minimum requirements in German and English language proficiency level „C1“ The tasks within the project essentially include the following work packages:

  • Critical analysis of the legal situation in EU/D with regard to Green Hydrogen with a focus on the current and expected legal situation, relevant regulations, typical contract models of the relevant and comparable industries
  • Data analysis/evaluation of legal and business data and development of economically viable and legal options for microgrid structures in combination with Green Hydrogen including coordination with stakeholders in EU/D
  • Development of an economically and legally viable concept for local microgrid structures in combination with Green Hydrogen in the state of Saxony-Anhalt
  • Cooperation with consumers of green hydrogen in Saxony-Anhalt for the evaluation of the developed concepts for a state-wide microgrid system with a central structure of a Green hydrogen pipeline and underground storage
