The School of Applied Psychology FHNW was established in 2006, since which time it has become a leading centre of excellence in the realm of occupational, organisational and personal psychology. Its campus in Olten has 300 students and more than 60 staff.     

Education/training 

The School of Applied Psychology FHNW offers courses of study in occupational, organisational and personal psychology. Its undergraduate and post-graduate studies benefit from a strong practical orientation and represent the best educational preparation for a career in the commercial field. The next academic year begins on 16 September 2013.

Psychological issues are increasingly being identified as important in the world of work. The School of Applied Psychology FHNW offers a broad spectrum of continuing education opportunities in the realm of occupational, organisational and personal psychology.

The School of Applied Psychology FHNW attaches great importance to enhancing the relevance of psychology to society and business. Our thematic focuses: Work and Health, Diversity and Cooperation, Design of Work Processes and Environments, Personnel and Organisational Development, Safety and Reliability of Sociotechnical Systems, Virtual and Media-Supported Collaboration.
